Mysuru, Apr 23 (DHNS): Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s disappearance from his house here from 8 am to 10.45 am on Wednesday sent his security into a tizzy.
People who had gathered at his house to submit petitions returned disappointed.
The chief minister, who was in the City to participate in the Basava Jayanti celebrations and other programmes, had stayed back and was relaxing at his TK Layout house. He was expected to travel by car to the Lalit Mahal helipad to fly to Bengaluru. But the security were surprised to find that the chief minister was not in the house.
It is learnt that Siddaramaiah had left his house in a private car and visited a friend’s farmhouse on Manandavadi Road in T Kaaturu village of Mysuru taluk. He reached the helipad by a private vehicle directly.
Last month, too, Siddaramaiah had gone to meet his friends without the knowledge of his security.
