Mumbai, Apr 15: Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently spoke out saying that while she does make a masala films, she refuses to make movies to make any under the pressure of critics censure or approval.
Farah said that if she loves the script she would go all out to make the movie, especially one such as Shonali Bose directed "Margarita with a straw." The actor - director said, "If I will get a script like this (Margarita With A Straw) or I would feel that I can go for this script, then I would definitely make it. But I won't go ahead with it just because critics want me to make such films. I won't take that pressure on me."
Farah Khan's last movie was "Happy New Year" that was rife with song and dance numbers in between a lot of jokes and 6 people slaving at a competition to win a prize of exacting revenge. She is presently in busy with the first season of her cookery cum talk show "Farah ki Dawaat".
Margarita with a straw earned Kalki Koechlin a lot of praise for her performance as a young girl who was affected by cerebral palsy. Kalki portrays the story of how a girl such as her goes through despite being effected by a deeply damaging disease like CP.
