Washington, March 24 (IANS): Spaniard Rafael Nadal's ankle is still a hanging concern for his bid to win the ATP Miami Open title.
World No.3 Nadal is coming off a run to the quarter-finals at the Indian Wells, where he lost to Canada's Milos Raonic. Nadal, 14-time Grand Slam champion, failed to complete the practice session on Monday, reports Xinhua.
"Rafael Nadal didn't finish the practice today (on Monday). It looks like his ankle is OK, however, we will see how things evolve," his spokesman tweeted.
Nadal is a four-time Miami runner-up, losing to current world No.1 Novak Djokovic of Serbia in the 2011 and 2014 finals, Russia's Nikolay Davydenko in the 2008 and Swiss maestro Roger Federer in the 2005 title matches.
