George should resign from his post and the central government should order the state government to hand over the investigation to the CBI." He also used expletives while referring to K J George.
Shravan Kumar, district president of the Mahasabha, warned that that if the state government fails to hand over the investigation to the CBI, the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha would hold Karnataka bandh in the coming days.
Speaking to media persons, Dharmendra Kumar, state spokesperson of the Mahasabha said, "From the past few days, IAS officer D K Ravi case has become a major issued in the state and in this matter Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha demands that the central government step in and assign the investigation to the CBI.
"So far, CID and COD have failed to complete investigations into cases of various other persons like police sub-inspector Mallikarjun Bande and others. From this, it is clear that the state government is not allowing an honest investigation int D K Ravi's death. It is better to hand over the case to the CBI so that there is no interference from the state government. The state government is testing the patience of the six crore people of Karnataka," he said.
