Kolkata, March 10 (IANS): Two more swine flu deaths were reported in West Bengal on Tuesday, taking the toll across the state to 17, a health official said.
As many as 19 fresh cases were recorded since Monday.
"The toll for the state is 17 and the total number of cases now is 245," principal secretary for health and family welfare Malay Kumar De told IANS.
He said 154 patients have been cured and discharged from various hospitals in Kolkata.
Most of the cases were reported from Barasat in North 24 Parganas district and Kolkata while some were reported from Howrah and Hooghly districts.
