Udupi: Pedestrian killed in hit and run case

Udupi, Feb 20: A person was killed near the forest gate at Katapadi near here on the night of Wednesday February 18. The deceased has been identified as Victor Rodrigues (57), resident of Yenagudde in Katapadi.

Rodrigues was employed at Roshni Bar in Udyavar. He was returning home at around 11.30 pm on Wednesday, when he was run down by a speeding vehicle.

The vehicle which rammed into Victor sped away without stopping to take care of him. A case stands filed in Kaup relating to the incident. The deceased is ruvivved by wife, two sons, and a daughter.
