Jet Airways to operate direct flights to Abu Dhabi from March 29

Mangaluru, Feb 20: Jet Airways will be introducing daily direct flights from the international airport Mangaluru to Abu Dhabi from March 29 this year. This information was given by director of the airport here, J T Radhakrishna.

The flight will arrive from Abu Dhabi at 1.30 pm every day and the return flight will leave the airport here at 5.40 pm.

SpiceJet will also be introducing new flights between Bengaluru and Mangaluru on that day.

In the meanwhile, flights between Bengaluru and the city were affected on account of Aero India 2015 show at Bengaluru. The Jet Airways had cancelled its two flights which were scheduled to arrive here at 11.30 am and 3.30 pm, and leave for Bengaluru at 12.10 pm and 4.15 pm respectively. The SpiceJet flight also arrived 1 hour 15 minutes behind schedule at 9.55 am.

Airport sources expect changes in the schedules of some flights on Friday February 20 too.
