Mumbai, Feb 16 (IANS): Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) Summer Resort 2015 will showcase 39 designers for the Emerging and Jabong Stage categories here.
The platform will present Patine by Shon Randhawa from London and Parul Bhargava from Paris, both exhibiting global fashion sensibilities on the Indian ramp.
“Lakmé Fashion Week has been instrumental in integrating India into the global fashion scene, since 2006. With our enviable pool of established designers along with the new talented lot, LFW continues to be a revered platform showcasing best of global fashion,” Saket Dhankar, head-fashion, IMG Reliance, said in a statement.
The forthcoming edition, from March 18-22, will also see emerging designers from cities like Kolkata, Hyderabad, Noida and New Delhi.
“Every year the advisory board scouts for the best pool of budding fashion talent, each of who we predict will leave their mark on the fashion landscape. This season too we have an interesting mix of designers who will showcase their collections as an introduction to the fashion industry during LFW,” said Purnima Lamba, head of innovations, Lakmé.
