Bengaluru: Rape and murder of 8-year-old: Man seen in CCTV footage arrested

Bengaluru, Feb 8 (DHNS): Bengaluru Rural police on Sunday afternoon arrested Ambarish (20), a resident of Cholappanahalli on the charges of raping and murdering an eight-year-old girl at Pillagumpa Industrial Area near Hoskote.

Ambarish, is said to be a construction worker, was in Pillagumpa Industrial Area to visit a relative, when the incident took place. The accused was reportedly drunk and loafing around the area when he allegedly lured a minor girl into a shed and then committed the crime.

The investigating officials found vital clues that lead to the arrest of the accused from a CCTV footage that was installed at a private firm near the crime scene.

In the footage, the victim is seen playing with an object which slipped off her hand and fell near a heap of stones. On the pretext of handing over the object, the suspect lured the victim into the shed and came out alone after eight minutes. The victim’s body was later found in a semi-nude condition.

Chop his each body part mercilessly! Public should take immediate action against such kind of evils. just imagine that angels parents situation n how they will survive with this trauma? They will memorize how he raped their child and killed! Our law and order is too poor so today rape and crime is increasing rapidly. Our law have sympathy towards culprits but not towards murderers.

You searched for him and you found him.

It took him eight minutes to do his thing and snuff the life out of that innocent child.

Let not your judgement deliberations take more than eight minutes.

Hang him by his thing till he dies.

If the honorable judge is unsure of the sentencing let him/her ask public to vote.

The man who doesnt know what a child and a adult is,and later even killing it without any mercy,is not worth to be in this world. It is harm to others children as well as adults.so just throw him to leopards. They too are must be waiting for some fresh fleish.disgusting.Good there was a cctv camera which helped a lot, otherwise this case also would have gone without detection.

No wonder there is no comment here at all!! No politics and no religion is attached to this incident and hence our people who comment missing here... Unless law reduces its loop hole, more CCTVs installed by govt and private that might catch the culprits by chance just like this, these things will keep going. In India when people drink, they think they are bulletproof. Irish, British, French and Aussies drink more than what this construction worker drink but they don't pour it into their head but to stomach... any way..keep telling mera Bharat Mahan..that's what we have taught all these years without proper knowledge of outside world.
