Doctors don't see hope for change: Bobbi Kristina's cousin

Los Angeles, Feb 7 (IANS): A cousin of Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of late singer Whitney Houston, says doctors have no "hope for change" in the condition of the 21-year-old, who is on a life support system.

The aspiring actress, the daughter of Bobby Brown and Houston, is at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after she was found facedown in the bath at her home last weekend. Her cousin, Jerod Brown, admits the "odds are against" her pulling through, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

He posted on Facebook: "Though it seems the odds are against her, though doctors don't see any hope for change, though we might want to play detective and find out how she got there, though it looks impossible for her to stand again STILL PRAY FOR BK. (sic)".

Doctors have reportedly advised Bobby Brown to turn off his daughter's life-support machine, but the "deeply religious" singer and his family are refusing it in the hope of a miracle.

A source said: "Bobby is the one who will make the decisions. But he has told us, 'If America thinks she is dead, they will stop praying.' And at this point, we want people to pray for a miracle.

"Losing Whitney was hard, but this is a million times worse. To lose Krissi the same way would devastate him."
