Mangaluru, February 2: It was revealed by Vajrakumar Kumar Karnathaya Ballal Kuloor Beedu, president Shree Kantheri Doomavathi Jeernodhara Samithi that Brahmakalabisheka will be held at Shree Kantheri Doomavathi Bunt family temple, Kuloor at a press meet held here on February 2.
According to the press note 'Shree Kantheri Doomavathi Bunt family temple is located near Kuloor bridge on the banks of Phalguni River and has got widespread devotees from Bangra Kuloor and Padukodi villages who have been worshiping there since hundreds of years.
In recent times all the concerned villagers decided to redevelop the temple according to the ashtamangala prashne, kantheri temple, Bhandara house, Rajagopura. Bandigopura wells have been constructed in very short period of time.
Bramha Kalabisheka will be conducted under the leadership of Vedamurthy Shrinivas Bhat main priest Mahalingeshwara temple Kavoor from February 6 to February 8.Shree Kantheri Doomavathi Bunt family gods will be re established in the fully renovated garba graha of Shree Kantheri Doomavathi temple on February 8 Sunday morning at 9.02 am under the Meena Lagna Samuhurtha.
Details of the programme
On February 6 mass devata prayers, thorana muhoortha, punyaha, sapthashuddi prasadashuddi, rakshogna homa, vaastu pooje, vaastu homa, dikpala bali, adivaasa will be conducted at 6 pm.
On February 7 at 8 am punyaha, 12 thenginakayi ganapathi homa, navagraha shanthi, durgahoma will be conducted. At 6 pm, 108 kaladivasa adivasa homa.
On Febraury 8, at 6 am gods bandara will be bought from madakanaguthu Shree Kantheri Doomavathi to Payyaragudde. Thereafter at 6.30 am there will be punyaha, kalasha prathiste, prathishte homa, pradana homa, daiva prathiste. Prasada will be distributed and later maha annasantharpane will take place at 1 pm.
On the same day Thalakal kolambe shree vishwanatheshwara mahaganapathi yakshaganamandali bajpe group will perform 'Manthradevathe' Yakshagana" at 9 pm.
Ragavendra Kuloor, vice president, Harish Amin, joint secretary, Jayananda Amin, treasurer and Babu Kanchan, assistant treasurer were the others present at the press meet.
