Mangaluru: Eid – Milad at Masjid – u – Taqwa Celebrated

Mangaluru, Jan 27: Eid – Milad 2015 was celebrated at Masjid – u – Taqwa, Pumpwell, Mangaluru on January 18,2015 with maulid recitation and cultural programme by students of Taqwa Islamic School.

On this occasion Islamic Cultural Centre felicitated P C M Kunhi, Chairman Peecee Group of companies for getting District Kannada Rajyotsava Award – 2014 in educational field.







K Mohammed Haris, managing director, Mukka Sea Food Industries, Mangaluru was also felicitated for getting Niriyath Sri Gold Award – 2014 from FIEO, Government of India. Haider Parthipady, social worker and president Karnataka Jamaath Council, D K District has been felicitated for being selected as president of Bharatiya Krishika Samaja, D K District.

B M Mumtaz Ali, general secretary, welcomed gathering, Rasheed Haji, president, D K Wakf Advisory Committee presided over the meeting. Mohammed Arabi Haji, Abdul Azeez Hasan, vice presidents, Hameed Kandak, P C Hasheer, Mohammed Haji, executive committee members, Chiyoor Abdul Rehaman Saqafi, Khathib and Hasan Kunhi, manager were present on this occasion.
