Mandya, Jan 22: “Yes, I did denotification. But it was not for personal gains,” said former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Wednesday here.

“There is nothing wrong or illegal in denotification. But doing it for personal gains is wrong. S M Krishna, Dharam Singh and H D Kumara Swamy also did denotifications during their tenures.” He added.

“The debate is going on regarding making personal gains during denotifications. We will gather more data on the issue and present a report to the governor” Yeddyurappa said.

He criticized the state government for not doing any developmental work in the state.   He also said that no government official do listen to the chief minister and ministers.

    where are we?why do we even allow such candidates without checking their background?
    these guys cannot even speak well crisp to the point like PM Modi..
    nor they can deliver ..all they can do is count money..how to make more and eat more that's all..
    Its all the fault of illiterate JANATHA ..THE PUBLIC whose votes are being bought...
    but not for long .what went around will come around..water poured on your head will have to come down to yr feet..
    so, just watch.no one will aspire to contest Elections .. as they will be nailed if they stoop to any EVIL like corruption...redtape..
    they will account for every paisa..
    they can abuse the police nor CBI OR CGI OR THE COURTS..
    this is coming to an end...surely..
    time for radical change bring in professionals and dynamic leaders like Azim premji..kiran shaw.. narayan murthy..nandan nilekani..
    who are gems of our state..
