TV gets its own 'Dabangg' policeman

Mumbai, Jan 19 (IANS): Actor Bharat Chawda will be entering TV show “Humsafars” as a police inspector a la Salman Khan's character from "Dabangg".

His character named Vikram Singh Rathore is said to be on the lines of Salman's Chulbul Pandey from “Dabangg”. So one can expect witty one-liners with a strict, stern attitude from the Haryanvi policeman!

The thrill and suspense quotient has increased in the ongoing track of the show due to the murder of a maid in Niyamat house. Bharat will try to solve the murder case.

The lead pair -- Sahir and Arzoo (played by Harshad Chopra and Shivya Pathania) -- are also trying to find the killer.

The show is aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

Bhanu Uday takes romance classes from wife

Actor Bhanu Uday is taking his work back home. But instead of trouble, it is acting as a way to add romance to his marriage.

Bhanu carries scene scripts home to prepare for romantic scenes for his show "Hamari Sister Didi" and practices them with his wife Shalini.

“Yes this is true. When the script requires me to be romantic, who better than practicing it with the love of my life Shalini? 'Hamari Sister Didi' will take a romantic turn where Amrita (played by Pariva Pranati) and I will fall in love.

“Hence there are a few romantic scenes and I thought that the best feedback that I can get is from my wife Shalini,” Bhanu said in a statement.

The show is aired on Pal channel.

Bollywood’'s 'Dostana' duo John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan are rooting for actress Esha Deo’'s TV debut as a judge on "MTV Roadies X2".

The show is set to get bigger and better, and big Bollywood names are coming in support of the show as well as for Esha's new endeavour.

This time, the show will be sans the famous rough and tough twins -- Raghu and Rajiv. Instead, the season will be judged by Esha, TV actor Karan Kundra, boxer Vijender Singh and actor Rannvijay Singh.

John says that while there are four gangs on "MTV Roadies X2" this time, he's supporting only Esha.

"She's a dear friend, a buddy and the strongest amongst all heroes. She's a woman with a kind heart and the guts of a man. Esha you've definitely got my vote, don't let me down," he said.
