We have seen some persons attaining popularity in the past. Nobody should think only their type of music is only suitable in Konkani or great for that matter. What we want is, every person should get opportunity to present himself or herself. Let all of them perform. Please do not say which is right and which is wrong. Let the music world decide who is good. Good will remain and bad will go. Let us not put conditions on the performers. If you want to honour any greats for their talents, let us join hands together. But in order to do that, let us please not discourage the genres of music of newcomers if it does not belong to the previous ones.”
While the Konkani music is marching forwards without any help from academy, government or any institutions, only the music lovers in the form of sponsors and spectators support the musicians.
