Mangaluru, Jan 17: Krishna J Palemar, chairman of Vikas Institution on Saturday January 17 released a book 'Score More', a Maths and Science companion specially compiled for the students in tenth standard, at Press Club here.
Addressing the media Palemar said, "Board exams often bring lot of stress to students, this book aims at reducing the stress caused due to the sudden change in syllabus. We have always been a great support to student welfare. This book is designed with chapters in a capsule format and is easy to study, learn and remember. This book is provided by Vikas PU College lecturers to all students free of cost and we are sure that it will be of immense help to them.
"This year Vikas PU College has got cent percent result. The students who get above 95% marks will get free education. This book is distributed throughout the state of Karnataka. This book can be collected from the office of Vikas PU College anytime before February 28," he added.
Prof Ananth Prabhu, Yathish, Sharath and others were also present on this occasion.
