There is nothing eternal. You know for a fact and the wrong number as per pk does exist.
There is no test. Life is in the now.
Life is exactly the same for all creatures and the motive is to procreate ripen and die with no results or outcomes.
Just because there is intelligence, we celebrate and get euphoric.
but it should not be used as an opportunity to vandalize another's freedom.
But since that is not the case and since there are bad elements who like to take advantage of other flowers forcefully such measures are enforced by the elderly to avoid the blame game and embarrassing moments later.
Choice was out there but since respect to elders and law got chewed by corruption and high handedness, these reminders have to be sent out which hurts sentiments and individuals freedom.
Now it is every individual adults responsibility to protect themselves or indulge themselves in such acts that can endanger themselves or take precautionary measures by complying with the dictated words of legal authorities.

When new year dawns, wake up fresh at home. Welcome new year with enthusiasm.
Why drink all night and wake up with headache and hangover on 1st morning?

This is just for people who are bothered by police restrictions! and who are alcohol intolerants. I dont have problem of hangovers, so i'll drink, there are still places in mangalore where you can sit in open till morning. Welcome 2015!!

Partying in Clubs, hotels and restaurants until mid-night is good enough. Here the department of law and order has given permission to enjoy till 12.30 a.m which is a bonus. Again it is necessary that despite all the celebrations - good conduct on the eve of New Year and thereafter is something that COMMON SENSE WOULD PROMPT US TO DO.

All these rules and regulations are framed in the interest of the public and it is but fair that all people adhere to the norms prescribed by The Police Commissioner.

Yes, there are lot of frustrated minds (Chaali-poli), who can not afford partying & can not tolerate others having fun.
Police should take strict action against people who disturb others.

Also partying people should not cross their limits & make sure that their neighbours are not troubled and irritated due to their music, dance etc activities.

I don't understand why people celebrate New Year, instead they have to go to Masjid, temple, churches to forgive their sins cos they are losing one more year from their life and going to older age. this small life on earth is only for test, after death life is never ending.

@ Zeitgeist: This life is temporary. It will someday come to an end for us and an end for humanity altogether, but the Hereafter is eternal. The realities of Paradise and Hellfire will last forever, so our most important goal in this life should be preparing ourselves for the Hereafter by performing good deeds.

The experience of the worldly life is almost nothing compared to the . our Life in this world is like dipping our finger into the sea as compared to the sea itself.
