Pune, Dec 25 (IANS): India's Ankita Raina stormed into the semi-finals with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Serbia’s Nina Stojanovic in the quarter-finals of the International Tennis Federation's (ITF) Women's $25,000 tennis tournament at the Deccan Gymkhana here Thursday.
In another last eight clash, Ukrainian top seed Anastasiya Vasylyeva was shocked by Katy Dunne of Britain 4-6, 3-6.
Katy will meet Sofia Shapatava of Georgia in the first semi-final Friday. The Georgian third seed halted qualifier Magdalena Frech of Poland 6-7 (1), 6-4, 6-2.
