Mangaluru, Dec 22: Multi-lingual singer Anitha D'Souza is all set to bring out her own Konkani music album 'Yaad', scheduled to be released on Wednesday December 24 at Bela Church after Chistmas mass celebration. Fr Vincent Dsouza, parish priest of Bela will be releasig the album.
Anitha is known as a versalite singer who has rendered her voice in Konkani, Tulu, Kannada, Beary, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi and participated in over 2,000 musical nites all over India and Gulf contries like UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha, Oman. She won the Mandd Sobhann Global Konkani Music Award 2012 for the Best Female Singer. She has also been given the title of 'Gadinada Gana Kogile'.
Hailing from Bela, Kasargod Anitha rendered her skills as a judge for Gulf Voice of Mangalore 2014 for Kuwait and UAE semi-finals. She also judged the first round of 'Soad - 4' TV reality show.
Lloyd Rego has penned the lyrics for the album. Roshan D'Souza Anjelore has composed and arranged the music.
The album has been recorded and mixed in Calicut by Nithin Kottungall, Kerala.
Balachandra Prabhu, Nitin, Srikanth Kamath, Prakash D'Souza, Robin Sequeira, Zeena Pereira, Jean Brags and others have rendered thier voices for the album.
Anitha is also all set to her bring out a multi-lingual audio album early next year. This special album will consist of songs in nine Indian languages sung by her.
