Mangaluru, Dec 11: After a series of disturbing incidents, city and surrounding areas returned to normalcy. While the areas which had witnessed disturbances earlier remained calm on Wednesday, policemen made nine more arrests on Wednesday, taking the total number of arrests relating to recent incidents of disturbances to 49.

Two persons were taken into custody relating to stabbing incident in Kavoor, while seven were arrested by rural police station personnel in connection with Ulaibettu stone pelting incident. The policemen have been viewing the video clippings relating to disturbances, and making arrests after identifying the mischief mongers.

On Wednesday, policemen made sure that crowds were not formed. They also had instructed shopkeepers in sensitive areas to close their businesses early. Over 250 police personnel from other districts have been deployed to keep tab over unsavoury incidents. Krishnapura, Chokkabettu, Ulaibettu etc which had witnessed much of the action during the last some days, wore a deserted look.

Ban all religious procession, loud speakers in the religious places, remove all additional religious fittings on the road side, which can at least reduce some non sense.

Only development of one self and the society should be the motto and Humanity should be the Only Religion.

D.K's Main problem lies in Pseudo secularism, minority appeasement for political gain, there by playing tricks in other religious faiths. Will power of Police must in successful closing all illegal cow slaughtering houses that will bring peace & prosperity. Unless that you can't expect communal peace in coastal karnataka.

Good decision. Please lock up all troubles makers in jail..they need to be kept away from society.

Mangalore will prosper only when such paid, brainwashed hooligans and their organizations will be boycotted by citizens.

We need to welcome the Police action for arresting those trouble makers by viewing video clips…..but they want trouble not to be repeated again then they have to take action without any biased nature. Else nothing will happen and morcha continues as usual…… I feel pity for those people who are receiving end this time because they have tasted their own medicine at last

Catch them and leave them, then again and again same old problem, one full and final treatment should be given to all of them who do all sort of offensive acts. One life time treatment and let them come out of jail happily.
