Mumbai, Jan 15: Ganiga Samaja Mumbai held its annual general meeting last Sunday at Shri Vishwesha Teertha Hall of Madhwa Bhavana (Pejawar Math) in Santacruz East. The meeting, presided over by society president Baikadi Vasudeva Rao (BV Rao), witnessed the election of new office bearers for the 2025-2027 term.
Vijayendra Ganiga was elected as the new president, with Dinesh Ganiga taking charge as secretary and Sadananda Kalyanpur being re-elected as treasurer.
Gopalakrishna Ganiga (4G) and Madhava Ganiga (Panvel) were chosen as vice presidents, Veena Ganiga as president of the women's wing, Ramesh Ganiga as president of the Vidyodaya Committee, and Ganesh Kutpadi was re-elected as president of the youth wing.
The newly elected executive committee members include Vinayak Bhatkal, Gangadhar N Ganiga, Dinesh N Rao, Nagaraj M Ganiga, Narendra Rao, Aarthi Ganiga, Manjula V Ganiga, Veena D Ganiga, and Rachana V Bhatkal.
Senior members of the society—Kutpadi Ramachandra Ganiga, Jagannath M Ganiga, BV Rao, U Balachandra Kutpadi, Ratnakar A Shetty, Chandrashekhar R Ganiga, Balakrishna Tonse, Tara Bhatkal, and Mamatha D Rao—were appointed as advisory committee members.
