Dear Shriman Adolphus Lobo, what an unexpected yet humbling event where you so kindly conferred us with the "Vishwa Ratna" Award on behalf of Mangalore Musical and Cultural Association. We are humbled and we have no words to express.

What a thrilling joy to witness so much of talent and professionalism from the vibrant young generation that demonstrated so much of cultural as well as classical display thru their performance of dances, music as well as colorful presentation. Your creation of "Geetanjali" is a Temple of Joy filled with history and talent added with young promising new generation. What a joyful feeling.

We were truly honored to meet Mrs. Octavia Albuquerque and her family for the auspicious occasion. The long endured dedication of the noble family of Albuquerques not only to Mangalore but throughout India is an admirable fact. We have personally known late Mr. Felix Albuquerque as well as his brother late Rev. Fr. George Albuquerque, Sj. May God bless the Albuquerque family in many more ways, and we shall remain ever grateful to them for their untiring efforts in uplifting our Community in Mangalore.

Once again, thank you for your kind and generous thought. We did not deserve this unique Award but we shall accept it as a personal tribute to your beloved 94 year old mother to whom you are rendering so much of devotion in spite of your busy schedule in your life of music. You are an unique gift to our Society of Musical Extravaganza thru which you have reached out thousands of young men and women. God bless.
