San Francisco, Dec 5 (IANS): English club Everton's goalkeeper Tim Howard has been voted the US Player of the Year.
Howard was awarded 363 points by a panel of journalists, beating Major League Soccer players Jermaine Jones, who had 160 points, and Clint Dempsey, 147, reports Xinhua.
The 35-year-old Howard has been capped 104 times and was one of the star performers in the 2014 World Cup.
