Bahrain, Nov 18: Karnataka Social Club, Bahrain which is one of the prominent Associations in Bahrain celebrated it’s 34th Annual day at Delmon International Hotel on 16th November 2006.

The Ambassador of India to Bahrain Balakrishna Shetty was the chief guest of the programme.  Balakrishna Shetty  who is very popular for his dedicated and committed service to Indian community in his address appealed to the Indians to be proud of their country and its culture.  He emphasized the need to safeguard the interest of Indians in the Gulf especially the needy and underprivileged.

President of Karnataka Social Club, Richard Moras welcomed the dignitaries, guests & the members & the General Secretary Charles Rodrigues proposed the vote of thanks.

The main attraction of the programme was the impressive ‘Fashion show’ majestically displayed by the children in the age group of 5 to 10 years and 10 to 15 years.

Rajesh Prabhu, the Entertainment Secretary of the club compered the programme.
