Mumbai, Oct 15 (IANS): She has spent over five decades in the cinema industry, but veteran French actress Catherine Deneuve is not tempted to go behind the camera.
The actress, who was honoured with the lifetime achievement award at the 16th Mumbai Film Festival here Tuesday, spoke at a masterclass with Indian film critic Anupama Chopra and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone here Thursday.
Asked if she would ever consider film direction in the near future, the 70-year-old said: "My future is my present. I know many actresses who have turned into directors and there are many women directors in France.
"It's not something I am looking at. I am not writing anything, so I can't imagine directing someone's vision."
