Mumbai, Oct 16:  A grand celebration was held in the Mahakavi Kalidas hall, Mulund, here, on the occasion of the diamond jubilee of of Shree Vishweshateertha Padangal of Udupi Pejavar Math on Sunday October 15.

Governor S M Krishna, presided over the programme. Justice B N former judge of Supreme Court, was the chief guest. Manmohan Shetty, managing director, Adlabs Films Limited, Sadashiva K Urwal,  founder director, IITC and M V Karveer, entrepreneur, were present as chief guests.

Ramadas Upadhyaya, founder, Pejavar Math, Mumbai, Hari Bhat, Surendra Kumar Hegde, president, Sanathana Vedike, Sudhakar S Hegde, president, reception committee, Tonse Jayakrishna Shetty, president, media committee, B Vivek Shetty, president, decoration committee, Jaya C Suvarna, president and Haridas Bhat were present on the dais.

Sadanand A Shetty, president, managing committee, gave the welcome speech and keynote address. Vijaya Kumar Shetty, compered the programme. Surendra Kumar Hegde, introduced the guests. Aruna N Acharya, working president, managing committee, proposed the vote of thanks.
