Mangalore: Sadananda Gowda's sister loses battle to cancer

Mangalore, Oct 7: Railway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda's younger sister Savithri Shivaram Gowda (55) passed away at KMC Hospital, Jyothi on Tuesday October 7.

Sadananda Gowda had earlier visited his sister who was battling cancer on Tuesday morning. He also spoke to the doctors regarding giving her all the possible treatment.

                                                         

Sadananda Gowda's wife, son Karthik Gowda and other relatives were present in the morining.

Savithri, whose condition was said to be serious breathed her last later during the day.

She was a zilla panchayat member and was a resident of Hoddeti, Perenje, Sullia.

ZP president Asha Thimmappa Gowda, ZP vice president Satish Kumpala and former MLA Mallika Prasad Bhandary were present in the hospital.
