Belthangady, Oct 5: A son killed his father by strangling his neck.

The tragic incident took place at Maddadka in between Madanthyar and Belthangady on Friday night.

Mohammed (55) is the deceased person. Saddam (21) is the accused son.

It is gathered that the father being a drunkard always fought with his son. On the fateful night too when his wife had gone to the daughter’s house, Mohammed picked up a fight with Saddam. Saddam could not control his anger. He took out a rope to strangle his father’s neck which eventually killed him.

The murder was discovered when Saddam’s mother came on Saturday.

Saddam is among the seven children of the deceased.

Belthangady police have arrested the accused and are investigating the case.

Sad. Some actions done in Anger can not be reversed and will only be realized later. To remain in control is very important.

Feel bad for the family & for the young boy who ruined his life at such young age.

Whom to blame ?Young blood got fed up with alcohol Problem of father and his fight?or father everyday full with alcohol pickup fight with Family? In india it is almost daily bread, previous it was more.Alcohol addicts cant resist drinking.it is a disease. The children should also stay away when he picks up fight ,.But sometimes you cant stay away, since mother was not there.Son as a Young blood must have not tolerated and wanted that his father at least Keep quite.and Situation went out of control.so can happen when alcoholics in Family.Thatswhy many times it is better grown up children stay away from parents to avoid conflicts where alcohol Plays a big role.Hope the son has understood what he did to his father instead of helping,he killed him.may the deceased Soul rest in peace.

I saw parents work hard shed their sweat inorder to bring up their children without filling their stomach they fill children stomach. with the hope that they will look after them during their old age, this is the gift children giving to their parents, now what i mean is never to sacrifice anything for the sake of children. you work and save for yourself.

A nuisance, unloving & mean father is always a curse to any child. And the curse of the child passes the limit when his father is a drunkard.
of curse killing is not a solution.
The community leaders should take an initiative to identify such scums in the society who are not only a headache for the family but also for the community in whole & guide them the right path before it gets out of hand..

    Look at
Saddams picture, it seems like his one screw is loose, he made use of the situation when no others were there at home to defend their father.

Two murders ,one at Bhatkal (bakery owner was killed for delaying salary) and this one at Belthangady ,father being drunkard were not pre planned..Circumstances provoked them to act like that..Two responsible members of the family became criminals all of a sudden for not having patience or not thinking properly before taking extreme step..Feeling sorry for them..but crime is a crime..They have to be punished..hope,they get minimum punishment..
