Mangalore, Sep 29: Land Trades ‘Solitaire’ 32-floor residential project's Bhoomi Pooja, Launching and Foundation Laying ceremony was held at Hat Hill, Mangalore on Monday September 29 at the project site. The programme began with the invocation conducted by well known classical singer Sowmya.
Shrinath Hebbar, proprietor of Land Trades Builders & Developers gave a floral welcome to the guests.
The chief guest B Ramanath Rai, Honorable Minister for Forests, Environment & Ecology, Government of Karnataka launched the model of ‘Solitaire’ along with other guests on the dais.
Addressing the gathering B Ramanath Rai said, " Mangalore is a fast growing city and most beautiful city among the other cities of present time. Mangalore has all the facilities like airport, railways and good transport facilities. I am sure this ‘Solitaire’ project will make Mangalore more beautiful. I wish all the success and let god give the strength to make it a reality."
Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO, Karnataka Bank Ltd after inaugurating the brochure ‘Solitaire’, in his address said, " The bank is always ready to help Shrinath Hebbar, because whichever project he undertakes, he comes out with flying colours. The project which he undertakes are always on time and quality is never compromised. There is a huge demand for Land Trades flats and the bookings are done very fast because of his honesty in work. Foundation stone was laid by Al Haj Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, Chancellor, Yenepoya University. He addressed the gathering, " I am happy that foundation stone laying opportunity was given to me. This ‘Solitaire’ project is in the heart of the city, near to many schools, hospitals, temples, churches, mosques, malls and supermarkets. The special quality of the Land Trades is quality consciousness and meeting the deadline. I wish that ‘Solitaire’ becomes the landmark of Mangalore."
J Krishna Palemar, former minister, Government of Karnataka said, " I feel happy for Shrinath Hebbar for his marvellous works for the development of the city. We hear many new builders in Bangalore who promise quality buildings but fail to do so. Shrinath is honest in his undertakings, never cheats in the quality of the flats. I also request Shrinath Hebbar along with the development of the buildings in the city, to concentrate in planting trees around areas of the building and thus to make this city more green."
Mahabala Marla, Mayor, Mangalore City Corporation said "I am ready to give whole hearted support in the development of the city. I am keen that buildings which are under construction must take anti-malarial measures immediately, greater importance must be given to the construction of proper drainage. Strict action will be taken against the builders if they do not take anti-malarial measures."
Former mayor M Shashidhar Hegde and Rajaneesh, corporator of Lady Hill-Chilimbi ward were also present on the occasion.
Shrinath Hebbar presented mementos to all the guests on dais.
