Noida, Sep 28 (IANS): After Tarun Reddy and Arjun Narendran had won their respective titles Saturday, it was the turn of V.J. Senthil to win the Indian Junior Touring Car (IJTC) title in the FMSCI-MMSC National Racing Championship that concluded at the Buddh International Circuit here Sunday.
Senthil took his first-ever title when he won the IJTC race after a close battle with Charen Chandran. Defending champion Feroze Khan was running in second place, but lost out to Charen and ended up in third place.
Meanwhile, Reddy and Narendran had sealed the championship in the MRF Formula Ford 1600 and Indian Touring Car classes Saturday itself, and had mixed results Sunday while Bala Vijay had clinched the title in the introductory Super Stock class with a round to spare.
