Udupi, Sep 16: More than 200 children participated in the ‘Muddu Krishna’ competition organized by the Sri Krishna Math Paryaya, Sri Kaniyoor Math on Tuesday September 16 at Vasanta Mantapa, Udupi.
A large number of children dressed in colourful Sri Krishna costumes participated in several categories with the purpose of enhancing cultural and religious awareness among the public and encouraging talented kids. Parents participated enthusiastically in the programme to showcase their children’s talent.
All the little ones looked gorgeous with their costumes and were eager to perform on the platform.
Competitions were held in three categories simultaneously at different venues on the temple premises. These categories were- age below two, two to five age group, and five to ten age group, and the contests were held at Badagumalige and Rajangana.
The auditorium at the Rajangana was filled to capacity. Huli Vesha performers added an extra spark with their stunning acrobatic skills.
There was a festive air in the temple town and all around.
