Mangalore: Daijiworld Weekly announces Cover Boy/Girl photo contest

Mangalore, Sep 11: Daijiworld Weekly, the only English weekly published from Karnataka state which has its presence across the world, has announced the 'Cover Boy/Girl' photo contest on the occasion of Children's Day.

The contest is open for all children across the world irrespective of region, religion, caste, community or languages. The contest will be held in two categories - for ages between 1 - 2 and 2 - 5 (as of November 14, 2014).

A single best photo, 6 x 4 in size should be sent to Daijiworld Weekly corporate office by mail alongwith a copy of birth certificate to show the date and place of birth, gender, name of parents and other relevant details of the child. In addition, each entry must accompany a original entry coupon published in 'Daijiworld Weekly', fully filled in and signed by the participants. Each entry must have the address and contact number of the participant without fail. The receipt of each entry will be acknowledged by the weekly office to the email/postal address.

A total amount of Rs 56,000 will be given away as prizes in two categories to 26 children.

The last date to receive the nominations is October 31, 2014.

The results will be published in our website, www.daijiworld.com and in Daijiworld Weekly Children's Day special edition, November 14, 2014.

The prizes will be distributed during 'Children’s Day' celebration in Mangalore and in Dubai (for overseas winners).
