Ireland beat Georgia in Euro 2016 qualifier


Tblisi (Georgia), Sep 8 (IANS): English club, Everton midfielder Aiden McGeady found the net twice to help Ireland to a 2-1 victory over Georgia in the Group D qualifying tournament for the UEFA Euro 2016.

McGeady was on target at the 24th and 90th minute Sunday in Ireland’s first away tie, reports Xinhua.

Group D also includes this year's World Cup winners Germany as well as Poland, Scotland and Gibraltar.
