Mangalore, Sep 15: The Panambur police have arrested a person for selling hemp on Tannirbavi beach near here on Thursday September 14.

The arrested has been identified as Abdul Rahiman.  He was selling hemp to customers near the gate of George Mount Power Plant.  He was found selling each hemp packets for Rs 50 each.

The police arrested him after receiving a sure tip off.  Police also seized hemp packets worth Rs 8, 250.

The Panambur police have registered a case in this regard.
