SRK to promote HNY trailer through WhatsApp

Mumbai, Aug 11: Shah Rukh Khan is leaving no stone unturned for his upcoming film 'Happy New Year.' He is all set to promote his film through WhatsApp.

For the first time an Indian film will send its trailer via WhatsApp to the users of the application. Simply give a missed call or drop in a WhatsApp message at 91 9819020202 to get the HNY trailer on your mobile. If this is not enough then, the restriction by WhatsApp on a broadcast message has specially been removed for this campaign.

WhatsApp is an important messaging tool used by almost 50 million people in India. Shah Rukh wants to encash on this tool to promote his film. The trailer of the film will be released on August 14. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani in lead roles. The film will hit screens during Diwali this year.
