Libertyville, Aug 22: Fr Francis D'Souza, SJ came from Darjeeling to advance his studies at Loyola University, Chicago.  MKCA felt very privileged to have him as its chaplain for the past two years.

To bid Fr Francis a farewell, several MKCA members gathered at President Stan D'Souza's residence in Libertyville earlier this week.  President Stan welcomed the gathering and Austin Prabhu gave a brief history of Fr Francis' life from his childhood to present.

Members thanked him for his service and friendship and for his love and support to Mangalorean Community.  In return, Fr Francis said he felt as though he was with his own family during his stay here in Chicago.  He asked the members to continue their good work, promote our very unique culture and traditions and bring all Mangaloreans under one umbrella.

Stan D'Souza presented Fr Francis a Certificate of Appreciation and Mark Rodrigues presented him a small token of ourlove in the name of Mangalorean Konkan Christian Association.  Denzil Concesso, Larry Mascarenhas, Lig Martis and Ramona Sequeira gave an entertainment programmes.
