Panaji, Aug 17: Janmashthami, the birth festival of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great enthusiasm and belief throughout the state of Goa.

Enthusiastic crowds


Young boys are seen taking a jump into the holy pond soon after the dahi handi breaking competition.

Small children were seen dressed in the attire of Lord Krishna, dahi handi-breaking competitions were organized in every village and town. Religious processions also were held in different places.
