Margao, Aug 15: Commotion prevailed on Monday morning in the lobby of a five-star hotel based in the coastal line of south Goa, when a tiff developed between the hotel staff and guests. It was reportedly caused when the hotel failed to provide the guests with satisfactory service.
 
One of the guests, Amit K Shah from Ahmedabad, told this correspondent that they were starved by the hotel management, failing to provide food.

A team of 45 guests was down in Goa on Friday, some of whom had come on a package tour organized by Balaji Tours and Travels, Mumbai.
 
On Monday morning, when these guests asked for breakfast, they were made to wait for a long hour, and were served it in adequate quanity. When they ordered more rounds, they were not served. This sparked an argument as the guests complained that the children with them were hungry and they were not served properly.
 
They demanded refund of their money from the hotel management, which was declined by the latter.
 
In the meantime, a mediaperson representing a national electronic media channel got a tip about the commotion from his Mumbai office and rushed to the hotel to cover the episode. He showed his identity to the security and got insided the hote.

However, when he tried to videograph the happenings there, the security guard manhandled him and tried to snatch his camera. The managing director of the establishment also tried to snatch the camera. When he did not succeed, he smashed it on the forehead of the mediaperson, causing him an injury.
