Panaji, Aug 12: The BJP on Saturday said that India should attack Pakistan and Bangladesh to dismantle terrorist centers existing in the neighbouring countries.
Making this demand at a press conference in Goa, the BJP national president Rajnath Singh, said that the attack should be aimed to dismantle terrorist centers, which are nurturing terrorist activities in these countries.
"I demand that after taking the international community into confidence, India attack Pakistan to dismantle terrorist centres," Singh told reporters here adding,``not only Pakistan but Bangladesh should also be attacked where terrorist centres are operating."
The BJP president was specific that the terrorist centers in these nations should be attacked only after consulting the international community.
Briefing mediapersons after concluding his two-day long visit to Goa, Singh, emphasized that Indian government should use its diplomatic skills to convince international community.
''Neighbouring countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka are becoming hub of terrorism. This situation is posing grave concern to Indian security," Singh alleged.
Accusing union government of being ``silent'' on terrorism issue, the BJP national president said that UPA government was not serious about this grave issue.
"India should immediately stop all the confidence building measures with Pakistan till they stop cross border terrorism," he demanded adding," India should seek help of international community to declare Pakistan as terrorist state."
He recalled that then prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee had categorically told Pakistan president Parvez Musharaff that no talks would be held with them till there is commitment about stopping cross border terrorism. "It was only when Musharaff committed.. talks began," Singh stated.
Talking to reporters, the BJP president demanded that congress led coalition government should issue a white paper on prices and call an all party meeting to discuss the means and ways to contain prices.
"The NDA government had contained prices during six years rule and left a huge buffer stocks of foodgrains but by its wrong policies, the UPA government has undone all that was achieved by NDA," he said.
"The union government should either understand its responsibility or get out of power," Singh demanded.
The BJP president said that spiraling prices have made the life of Aam Admi miserable. "The hoarders, the profiteers and black marketers have been granted protection by this government to fleece the common man," he said.
