Bangalore, Jul 9: Srinidhi Prabhu, a native of Udupi district, who is presently studying in Bangalore, cleared the JEE (main) national level examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on April 6 this year. Srinidhi happens to be a student of Narayana PU College at C V Raman Nagar, Bangalore.
Prabhu had been given top ranking under engineering, B Tech, agriculture, B Pharma and Pharma D departments, in the result of the examination announced on May 27. In the NEE Advanced examination, he had secured 133rd rank. It is learnt that Prabhu has become eligible to pursue his course in computer science at Madras IIT.
Prabhu attributes his success to sustained hard work and guidance from parents and teachers. Srinidhi, who hails from Santhekatte in Kallianpur, Udupi, is the son of Shashidhar Prabhu, working as finance head in the Indian Academy of Science, Bangalore. His mother, Shobha S Prabhu, hails from Bannadi near Kota in Udupi district. She works as a scientist at DRDO Bangalore.
