Mangalore, Jun 22: "Neuro Anesthesia or Cardiac Anesthesia is going to be a world changer. I have always found it interesting,"said neurosurgeon C K Ballal addressing the gathering at the inaugural function of 'Neuro Care' held on Sunday June 22 at Decennial Memorial hall, Fr Muller Medical college, here.
He added, "When I was young there was no much scope in Neuro Anesthesia or Cardiac Anesthesia. But now it has grown up and it is very needed. Anyone can take up Neuro Anesthesia or Cardiac Anesthesia, it is a unique subject. No matter whcih doctor you are, you have to give good quality treatment to the patients."
Fr Patrick Rodrigues, the director of FMCI inaugurated the programme.
In his presidential address, Fr Patrick said, "Neuro Anesthesia plays a vital role in this generation. Every time the doctors have to update themselves and be ready to provide quality care to people who are in need."
Fr Rudolph Ravi D'Sa released a souvenir 'Neuro Care'.
Dr Radhesh Hegde welcomed the guests.
