Mangalore, Jul 22: Pitambar Heraje has been appointed new DySP of Panambur sub-division. He assumed charge on Friday July 21. The post of DySP at the Panambur division had been vacated after Mithra Heraje was transferred to Puttur sometime ago.
Pitambar Heraje who hails from Beltangady taluk began his police service as a sub inspector in Bellary in 1974. Thereafter he had served mostly in Hubli and Bangalore. After being promoted to the post of inspector he rendered his services in Tarikere and Bangalore city before being serving as DySP at Chikkaballapur.
It was only a month ago that he had been transferred as DySP in Western Range IGP’s office here. Now has been transferred to Panambur sub division as DySP.
