Mangalore, May 27: As Narendra Modi was swearing-in as the Prime Minister of India, on Monday May 26, in the Rashtrapati Bhavan Delhi, at 6 pm, celebrations were held in various parts of the country.
Food, tea, sweets were distributed, DJs, firing cracker were organized in various areas, including Mangalore.
The Gujarathi areca traders under the leadership of Anil Bekal organized free lunch distribution to the people of Mangalore. The distribution was organized in the premises of the Jalaram temple on the Mukhyaprana Temple road.
"As many as 1500 plates of food was arranged and distributed to share the happiness and joy of Narendra Modi taking his oath as the Prime Minister of the country," said Anil Bekal speaking to daijiworld.
