Udupi: Pooja Rao earns bachelor's degree from Delhi School of Planning

Udupi, May 19: Pooja Rao, secured a first class with distiontion in Bachelor of Planning from the School of Planning and Artitecture, New Delhi, a pristgious automonus instituion in India.
On the occasion of the 31st graduation day, she received her degree from professor Ranjit Sabikhi, a well known person in architecure and planning.
Pooja is perhaps the first girl to get this degree from the Udupi district. She did her primary schooling at Bhatkal and Bangalore. She completed her high school studies at the Indian School Al Seeb, Muscat, Oman. While studing at Muscat she was awarded Shstra Prtiba by Science India Olympiad Foundation for being the topper in the school for three successive years.
She completed her pre-university education in at Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar.
While studing at Delhi she was editor of the annual Nosplan Magazine 2012 . She did her project work on CZR and its implications in the Gangolli port area of our district.
Presently she is working as a project assistant in CISTUP, Indian Institue of Science Bangalore.
She is the daughter of professor S S Rao, retired principal of MIT Mudalakattee and Vedavalii Mulky, working in Syndicate Bank; parents are settled in Udupi.
