A lorry bearing north Indian registration apparently swerved to the side beyond driver's control and is stranded on the edge of the road in Koppalangadi near here for about three days now. Nothing is known about the owner, driver and occupants of the vehicle.


A temple in Kopplangadi is being demolished in preparation for its renovation.




Oil-mixed water has been flowing in a gutter near Shri Krishna Math. It is likely to affect the drinking water in the nearby wells. The attention of the persons concerned is being drawn
