Bantwal, May 13: The Melkar Women’s Pre-University and Degree College has achieved 97.5% result in the II PU exams.
The Commerce stream once again recorded 100% results. 45 students had appeared for exams among them 7 have scored distinction and 32 scored a first class.
Sameeda Banu secured the highest with a total of 548 and is placed top in the college. She scored 100 in Business Studies and Accountancy, 96 in Computer Science and 91 in Kannada.
Farhana Banu (538), Ramzeena (527), Nafeesath Mishriya (517), Reenaz Banu (516), Nishath (513), Shain (511) and Nashath Niza (504) are some of the other distinction holders.
In the arts stream, out of the 67 students 64 have cleared the exams. The students have shown their best performance. 54 students scored first class marks. Sumayya (489) scored the highest in this stream.
In science stream 13 students appeared for the exams of which 11 showed their best performance by scoring a first class. Among them Nasira (498) has scored the highest.
