Karkala: Judicial custody for Biju Thomas till May 17

Karkala, May 6: Biju Thomas from Kerala, who had been arrested for clandestinely hoarding banned explosive materials worth crores of rupees at various places in the taluk, has been remanded by the court here to judicial custody till May 17. 

Biju already faces similar cases filed in the past.

When he was arrested in the court on April 29, Biju had been handed over to police custody till May 4. 

He was produced in the court on expiry of the term of police custody. 

Assistant superintendent of police, Annamalai, had succeeded in organizing raids at different places and bringing out the illegal deeds of the above person.
