Mangalore, Apr 30: 'Nadabhimana', a book on Kannada language and literature written by Chennegowda, published under the banner of KSRTC Kannada Literary Committee was released by well known author Dr Sara Aboobakar, here on Wednesday April 30 at the press club.

Speaking after the inauguration, she said, "I am happy to take part in this meaningful occasion and release a book on Kannada Literature and Language. There are so many books written on Kannada language and literature but a very special unique character of this book, is that it is written and published by a committee and a group which works in a  public sector- KSRTC."

"Their gift to the society and language, inspite of their busy schedule and work is laudable. People usually have a negative or inferior feeling and reach towards the Kannada medium, especially when compared to that of English. People are easily attracted to the English medium, but there are many from the Kannada medium who have achieved great success," she said.

Chennegowda, the author; Mahesh, KSRTC Mangalore Division chief; K S Parthuswamy, KSRTC Kannada  Committee State chief secretary; Hussain, treasurer; Harish Golla, secretary, Puttur Division; and others were present on the occasion.
