Mangalore, Jun 22: Supercop and Director General of Police (Home Guards) Kiran Bedi will visit Mangalore on Jun 24 to attend the golden jubilee celebrations of "Lionism" in India at Jawaharlal Nehru Centenary Hall, Panambur.

Kripa Amar Alva, Lions District Governor, District 324-D5 told press persons here on Wednesday that Padmavathi Heggade, wife of D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, and Veenadhari, convener, Karavali Positive Women and Children’s’ Network, would be the resource persons for the seminar.

At the seminar featuring eminent women achievers, each of these women will be placed as role models to the rest of them.

Besides, five eminent persons including K V Kamath, CEO, ICICI Bank, Uday Holla, Advocate General, Karnataka, N V Hegde, Chairman, Nitte Education Trust, Kadri Gopalnath, saxophone artiste and Gurukiran, music director from the revenue districts under Lions District 324-D5 will be honoured as part of the golden jubilee celebration.
