Mangalore, Jun 21: Konkani Cultural Organization (KCO) Abu Dhabi and Samanvaya Mangalore have jointly organized a one-day training programme on "Practical Leadership for Modern Age" for the benefit of the talented scholarship students on June 18 at Samanvaya Hall, Urwa Stores.
The chief guest and an active member of KCO Abu Dhabi Robert Rego inaugurated the programme. In his inaugural address he explained about the formation of KCO, its functioning, aims and objectives. He placed before the students the qualities required to be a good leader.
Continuing his talk he shared his life experience and the contribution of good books, which brought success in his life. He said, “social activities of Samanvaya organization are down to earth and I am ready to support the organization with the resources available to me".
The director of Samanvaya and Human Resource Management expert Fr Ronald Cutinha guided the students to gain experience of practical leadership through group discussion, experience sharing, elocution, games etc.
The managing trustee of Samanvaya Fr Pius F Pinto introduced the activities of Samanvaya trust.
The director Fr Ronald Cutinha gave the details of 80 scholarships, which were granted by KCO, Abu Dhabi to a tune of Rs 5 lac.
